This year, Google invested in the features of Google Classroom, adding several major feature changes to the web app. This article focuses on the Fall 2018 changes. The first is the removal of the\u00a0<em>About<\/em> section. Screenshots are found in <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.technerdservices.com\/index.php\/2018\/08\/google-tips-google-classroom-fall-2018-updates\/6\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the NEW People Tab<\/a> section.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"Links_to_external_apps\">Links to external apps<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The hyperlinks to Google Drive and Calendar app and now found in the\u00a0<em>Stream<\/em> tab. Instead of Stream, Students, and About, the tabs are now Stream,\u00a0<em>Classwork<\/em>, and\u00a0<em>People<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The Stream tab still behaves the same, where announcements, assignments, and questions appear.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.technerdservices.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/07_newInter.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2417\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.technerdservices.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/07_newInter-1024x610.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"683\" height=\"407\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.technerdservices.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/07_newInter-1024x610.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blog.technerdservices.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/07_newInter-300x179.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blog.technerdservices.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/07_newInter-768x458.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blog.technerdservices.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/07_newInter.jpg 1099w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>However, announcements are the only post type available in the Stream.
